In celebration of this long-awaited release, there will be an EP release party at the gorgeous Meadows Golf Club in Littleton, CO. Mike will be joined on the bill with contemporary electronic pop artist Amy Kress, who will be gracing the stage with a special acoustic set. Amy also just released her sophomore album Fly in July and will be playing a mix of new and old hits.
This performance is sure to be a special one, as this will be Mike’s time to shine and show off the hard work he has put into After All These Years. After months of recording, producing, and mixing the EP at The Spot Studios, the finished product will be unveiled. Rhodes will also be playing with a newly formed four-piece band, which will complement the humble clarity of his music with an energetic variation. It’s an exciting time for both R Michael Rhodes and Amy Kress, and the unique pairing of their performances will no doubt make for an evening of great music. While their genres vary from Americana to electronic pop, both share lyrical prowess and a sincere vulnerability with their audience.
