Denver-based rock trio Moonlight Bloom is slated to release their sophomore EP Walking Trees Saturday, April 14th with a celebratory Denver show.

 Moonlight Bloom.

Moonlight Bloom.

The band is a genre-blending, improv-embracing group weaving 60s and 70s psychedelia with modern sounds. There are definitely nods to some greats like Jimi Hendrix and Grateful Dead in this four-track EP, but there’s also a hint of The Lumineers here, especially in the vocals. Like what you hear? Moonlight Bloom’s debut self-titled EP was released September 2017 and you can check some more of their tracks here.

As mentioned, Moonlight Bloom’s EP release show is this Saturday, April 14th at Moe’s Original BBQ featuring Flash Mountain Flood, GypsyWhiskey, and Wes Williams. Plus, there will be a 60's-style liquid light show, and the unveiling of a limited pressing of the band’s 7-inch vinyl. Following the release, the band will be heading on a tour across the Midwest and Pacific Northwest.
